What Lydmera is

Lydmera Limited provides software that assists with swimming-pool engineering inputs, calculations, equipment sizing and documentation. Lydmera is not the engineer, designer, installer, manufacturer, building-control authority or certifier for your project. Using the Service does not create a professional-services appointment with Lydmera.

Independent professional review is required

Every calculation, selection, assumption, diagram, recommendation and report produced by the Service must be checked by a competent person before it is used for quotation, specification, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning or operation.

The reviewer must use professional judgement appropriate to the project and jurisdiction. Depending on the work, review may require pool, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, ventilation, controls, water-treatment, structural or other specialists and any legally required licensed professional.

Inputs, assumptions and site conditions

Outputs are only as reliable as the information and assumptions used. You must verify, among other things:

• geometry, units, temperatures, occupancy and operating schedules;
• cover use, evaporation and environmental assumptions;
• climate/design conditions and site exposure;
• pipe routes, static head, losses, flow and equipment curves;
• plant-room access, electrical supply and other site constraints;
• current manufacturer performance data, compatibility and installation limits;
• applicable codes, standards, permits and client requirements; and
• the effect of unusual materials, use patterns, microclimate or incomplete survey data.

The Service cannot discover every site condition or missing fact. A calculated result is not a site survey, design certificate or guarantee of real-world performance.

AI-assisted inputs and text

AI-assisted features may misread a document or drawing, use the wrong value, omit context or generate inaccurate text. An AI-extracted field is an input suggestion, not a verified fact. Check it against the source before running or approving a calculation. Check generated narrative against the calculation and project record before issuing it.

Deterministic calculation code does not make an unverified input safe: a wrong extracted value can propagate through a mathematically correct formula.

Standards and methodology

The Service may reference particular standards or methodologies in the application or a generated report. Only the references and engine/methodology version actually printed for that Output should be relied on when reviewing it. A general marketing statement does not certify that every provision of a named standard applies or has been satisfied.

Standards, guidance and manufacturer information change. The reviewer is responsible for confirming the current applicable edition, local adoption, deviations and professional requirements.

References to standards or industry guidance do not amount to a blanket claim that the Service or an Output complies with every provision of that material. Any claim of compliance must identify the exact document and edition, the calculation or feature to which it applies, and the scope and limitations of the method used.

Responsibility and legal rights

You are responsible for the engineering decision to use or reject an Output and for the professional deliverable issued to your client. White-label branding does not transfer that responsibility to Lydmera or prove professional review.

The Terms of Service contain the warranties and liability provisions governing the Service. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes liability or a statutory right that law does not allow to be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights where they apply.
